Ocean Network Express — ONE — was born in 2018 from the merger of the container arms of Japan's three shipping giants, NYK, MOL and K Line, and runs from Singapore under an unmissable magenta livery. The consolidation created the world's sixth-largest carrier overnight, and after years of operating a largely chartered fleet, ONE has invested in its own tonnage, including a class of 24,000 TEU flagships delivered from 2023 onward.

Since 2025 ONE anchors the Premier Alliance alongside HMM and Yang Ming on the east-west trades. Its verified MRV footprint reflects a fleet in transition: the new owned megaships pull the average intensity down, while the chartered mid-size units it inherited keep the fleet's carbon spread wide — a pattern clearly visible in its year-by-year verified figures.
