Port infrastructures and maritime services
The British Virgin Islands have several well-equipped ports and marinas to accommodate a wide variety of boats, from small vessels to luxury yachts. Tortola, the largest island, hosts Road Town, the main port, which offers maintenance, refueling, and mooring services. Other islands like Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke, and Anegada also have modern marinas that are easily accessible. Maritime infrastructures include navigation centers, precise maritime weather services, and sea safety facilities essential for ensuring smooth and secure maritime traffic. These facilities make the BVI a very popular maritime stopover in the Caribbean region.
