EU MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification)
The EU MRV regulation requires every ship above 5,000 GT calling European ports to monitor and report its fuel consumption, CO₂ emissions and transport work each year. The data is verified by accredited third parties and published by EMSA — making it the largest open dataset of verified ship emissions, and the source of Seadex vessel emission profiles.
